Adult Residential Communities (ARC) has been dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral health programs for adults in the South Florida area. Our primary goal is to foster a supportive, safe, and healing environment for individuals facing behavioral health challenges or co-occurring disorders. ARC is committed to serving those who are dedicated to their journey toward improved health and recovery.
What is an Adult Residential Community?
Adult residential communities are structured living environments designed for individuals with behavioral health needs and/or co-occurring disorders. These communities provide a safe and supportive space where residents can work on their recovery and overall well-being in a stable, distraction-free setting.
Adult residential communities allow residents the time to stabilize, build coping strategies, and address personal, social, or daily life challenges. Many residents may have recently completed a treatment program for mental health or co-occurring conditions and require an environment that fosters growth and recovery while transitioning to independent living.
Unlike traditional recovery residences, adult residential communities are specifically designed to focus on the holistic needs of residents, providing an environment free from negative influences or triggers that could hinder progress. This stability supports their journey toward long-term recovery and personal development.

Investing in Our Future: Nonprofit Status and Pursuit of Accreditation
We are thrilled to share two significant steps forward for Adult Residential Communities! First, we are proud to announce that ARC is actively pursuing nonprofit status. This transition reinforces our unwavering commitment to our mission of providing clean, safe, affordable, and structured housing for individuals navigating behavioral health challenges, co-occurring conditions, and mental health needs. As a nonprofit organization, our focus will remain firmly on the well-being of our residents and the positive impact we can create in our community.
In addition to this exciting development, we are also diligently pursuing accreditation through the Council on Accreditation (COA). This rigorous process involves a comprehensive review of our organization against internationally recognized standards of best practice, encompassing both our administrative operations and the delivery of our services. Our commitment to pursuing COA accreditation underscores our dedication to continuous improvement, accountability, and ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care and support.
We believe that both of these endeavors – our pursuit of nonprofit status and COA accreditation - will further strengthen our ability to serve our residents and build a more supportive community. Alcohol and Substance Abuse Recovery Housing
Project SOAR Recovery Residences is the parent organization of ARC Network. Since 2010, Project SOAR has provided transitional supportive housing for men in the South Florida area. Their primary goal is to provide a clean, safe, sober, and responsible environment to recovering alcohol/substance abusers or those who are dually diagnosed with mental health issues, which will, in turn, support recovery. Project SOAR Recovery Residences is committed to only accepting those individuals who are serious about their recovery.
